Cannon Beach is one of our favorite day trips from Portland, and The Ocean Lodge is one of our favorite hotels in Cannon Beach. It’s one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever seen.
Located right on the beach, the enormous lodge features very cushy and luxurious staying rooms, some of which offer amazing views of iconic Haystack Rock.
The beach bungalows have a comfortable country feel while also striking a sense of upscale elegance. This location is designed to be family-friendly, with kitchenettes and free crib use.
🐾 It’s also one of the most pet-friendly Cannon Beach hotels, with a selection of rooms dedicated to guests traveling with dogs.
In all honesty, you don’t have to leave the property to enjoy a wonderful time in Cannon Beach. You can take in the Pacific Ocean views from the wraparound veranda, a short walk through the garden, or peruse the library and DVD collection. It’s the perfect escape for a peaceful getaway.

The in-house spa offers body scrubs, wraps, facials, and massages. Its sauna is an amazing place to allow your body to unwind truly. Not to mention, it’s one of the best Cannon Beach hotels with a hot tub, adding another layer to the relaxation!
The spacious rooms are equipped with everything you need – a king or queen-sized bed (Murphy beds as well, in some rooms), kitchen, and a balcony with ocean views. Our kids loved the extra cozy touch of our very own cozy fireplace in our room.

The Inn at Cannon Beach takes customer service to the next level, enhancing the beds in their rooms by offering hypo-allergenic bedding. Cribs or infant beds are available upon request at no charge. They also offer a free continental breakfast, which is super tasty!
We love the Cannon Beach hotels on the water that provide beach towels as this one does. It’s such a convenient courtesy to be able to play near the water and then enjoy a picnic.

4. Sea Breeze Court

Sea Breeze Court is one of the nicest Cannon Beach, Oregon hotels, but it’s not as luxurious as the others already mentioned on our list. It’s also not located on the beach.
The staying rooms here are comfortable but less elegant than other Cannon Beach lodging options. The rooms consist of either a king or queen-sized bed along with a double sofa bed. Some include a full kitchen or a kitchenette, depending on the guest’s needs.
This hotel also offers guests beach towels to use on their sandy adventures. And the picnic area is cute and quaint. There’s some wrought-iron furniture to lounge on while you enjoy the outdoors, as well as a barbecue grill for cookouts.

If you enjoy exploring new towns on foot, a couple more blocks away from this hotel are plenty of Cannon Beach sights and sounds to explore. The inn will rent you bikes to explore the neighborhood if you’d like!
We love the courtyard and garden here. The little fountain and the beautiful trees really set a joyful mood for the property. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a meal in the picnic area. This Cannon Beach bed and breakfast-style property also has a library that everyone can enjoy!
This inn offers both standard rooms and suites, depending on how much space your family needs. They are equipped with queen-sized beds and sofa beds, as well as a private bathroom, flat-screen TV, microwave, and refrigerator.
Some rooms even have private patio areas to enjoy the Oregon sunshine if you’re lucky enough to score a sunny day.

Our family lives for an indoor pool when we’re traveling the Oregon Coast. It’s a special treat to have a built-in place to play! And this location has a hot tub and sauna too, which is really nice after spending a day outdoors.
If the weather isn’t holding up for adventuring, this hotel also has DVD players. A family movie night away from home is a fun way to wait out a rainy day.

The studios and suites are painted in warm and comforting colors. The vaulted ceilings open up the staying rooms and suites so much. We love the wood-burning fireplace! The roomy bathtub is a family favorite too!
Most of all, we love the sundeck at this property. The surrounding wildflowers and wood beach chairs offer a place to rest and take in amazing beach views. Watching the sunset in Cannon Beach is amazing.

The Gilbert Inn is an adorable bed and breakfast just outside of Cannon Beach. It’s a beautiful and quaint place to spend your time in the area. My kids are always so excited when they can wake up to a hot breakfast.
The rooms are beautifully decorated. They are sophisticated and classy yet still comfortable. Keep in mind that most of the rooms sleep two, so this may be a better fit for couples as opposed to families.
The property is so green and beautiful. There’s a beautiful garden and terrace. It makes for the perfect picnic area. We really appreciated the free daily continental breakfast and free bicycle rentals as well. It’s a super fun spot to ride around and explore Cannon Beach.
