You can explore the dam for free if you are looking for something economical to try while in Las Vegas, or you can go on a tour of the dam, where you will be able to see the turbines and the different tunnels that run throughout the dam.

The only downside about this area is that it is an hour to get there. However, if you have the time, it is worth it to explore. If you do not have a car or don’t want to go by yourself, there are some tours that will do all the work for you.

If you’re having a tough time making a decision on whether to visit Valley of Fire or Red Rock Canyon, you’re not alone. Our post, Visiting Valley of Fire or Red Rock Canyon in Las Vegas will give you all the details of what to expect from each area.

Fremont Street, and the nearby Neon Museum, are iconic destinations in Las Vegas. Located in downtown Las Vegas, it is a vibrant mecca for tourists and locals alike. On Fremont Street, visitors can experience an array of attractions, from casinos and great hotels to live music venues to unique shops. The street itself is lined with vintage neon signs that create a perfect backdrop for pictures or simply for taking in the sights.

One of the main attractions on Fremont Street is the Fremont Street Experience, which puts on incredible light shows every night. This pedestrian mall boasts an 85-foot-high LED canopy that provides a stunning view above and beyond its vibrant streets below.
