The Chetco RV Park caters to those who are looking for long-term RV stays in the Brookings area. However, They do allow shorter stays. They also have nine park models that are fully furnished that can be rented by the month.

This park is right off of HWY 101, making it very easy to find. The sites are private because the majority of them have hedges that were grown over the years to provide privacy for those RV Camping in Brookings, Oregon.

This is one of the best long-term RV parks in Brookings, Oregon. They have some unique programs for those who will spend part of the year in the park and the other part of the year in other locations.

2. Harris Beach State Recreation Area Campground

The Oregon State Parks are wonderful places to stay, and when we are looking for RV Parks near Brookings, Oregon, or anywhere else along the Oregon Coast, we always take a look at them. The state parks have some of our favorite campsites on the Oregon Coast.

Harris Beach State Recreation Area Campground has some really pretty views along Oregon’s s coast. It is close to the beach and is a great location for sightseeing and picnics.

Harris Beach is a great place for whale watching and checking out the other great wildlife Oregon offers, like sea lions, sea birds, and harbor seals.

The campground is open year-round, but some loops close during the winter months. They also have a first-come-first-serve loop. We often try to call before if you are FCFS to see if we can get any information on how crowded the area is.

The park has many full-hookup sites as well as yurt options. The group camp is currently closed without a reopening date, but if you are interested, we would recommend calling to make sure it is still closed.

The area has lots of great attractions like the Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor, Crissey Field, Mcvay Rock, and the Winchuck State Recreation area.

3. Riverside RV Resort

The Riverside RV Resort is a great riverfront RV park in Brookings, Oregon. They are only six miles from the California border and only a mile from the beach.

There are great trees, gardens, and foliage in the park. They offer a great experience for seniors looking to stay in the area but is a nice Brookings, Oregon RV park many will enjoy. If you stay at this park with children, they need to be supervised by an adult at all times. 

It is recommended that you have a reservation when staying in the Riverside RV Resort and the other RV parks near Brookings, Oregon, but if you don’t have one, make sure to call the campground ahead of time, so they know you are coming. This can be a benefit for everyone to make sure you are not turned away.

4. Brookings Elks RV Park

The Brookings Elks RV Park is a small RV park near Brookings, Oregon. They only have 17 sites available, and all of the sites are first-come-first-serve. They do have some hookups and a dump station.

In the same location, they have a bar, slots, and a lot of adult games like pool, darts, shuffleboard, and pools.

This is not your most kid-friendly location, but if you are in the area and the other locations don’t have a lot of availability, or you are wanting to price some of your options, you should give them a call to make sure there is some space available.

5. Alfred A. Loeb State Park

Alfred A. Loeb State Park, also known as “Loeb,” is in a dense old-growth forest next to the Chetco River. This is a little way inland, so you get a lot of great forests, but you are about eight miles from the Oregon coastline.

There are campsites with picnic tables and cabins that face the river making for beautiful views. The Chetco River provides some fantastic activities. You are able to fish, swim, raft, and walk on great nature trails in the area.

The salmon and steelhead fishing in the fall and winter is fantastic. You are able to fish from the bank or by drift boat.

They do not have full hookups, but some sites do have electrical and water. This is not a dump station on site. There are some first-come-first-serve sites, but they are only for 20-foot length RVs.

6. Driftwood RV Park

Driftwood RV Park is a very nice RV park in Brookings, Oregon, and they have specific rules pertaining to your RV. Your RV must be manufactured in 2011 or newer. If your RV is in exceptional shape, they will allow you to send them a picture of your camper for approval before you will be able to make a reservation.

Their typical rates are for two occupants, one RV, and one vehicle. They will also allow one pet per reservation. This RV park tends to cater more to older adults but could still be a good option for older families.

The RV park is very level with paved sites and drives. There is not a lot of tree cover around many of the sites.

7. Portside RV Park

The Portside RV Park has beautiful views overlooking the Chetco River. They are also a good spot for big rigs with two pull-through sites that will fit up to 80 feet. They are right in the middle of everything and very close to Brookings.

You will be able to walk to the beach, restaurants, and shopping, making this a perfect location to relax and enjoy the great Brookings environment.

They have a very nice clubhouse with a large TV, or you can take a short drive to the golf course that is only a few miles away from this Brookings RV park in Oregon.

8. Beach Front RV Park

The Beach Front RV Park puts you right on the beach for wonderful views. They will have newly remodeled front row sites beginning in 2023 or the end of 2022.

The RV park does not allow for every type of camper. You can not stay in this park if you are camping in a school bus, also known as a skoolie, and they do not allow tents, car tents, or car camping.

They have a maximum stay length of 14 days, but you can come back after 3 days outside of the park. Your RV must not be older than 20 years old.

If you have a trailer with ATVs or a boat, you must store them in their storage area at a cost of 10 dollars a day. The park does not have a lot of trees, but this is the best RV park if you are looking for something close to town and the beach.

9. Atrivers Edge RV Park

Atrivers Edge RV Park is a nice RV park close to Brookings and the Pacific Ocean. They are off the highway with private river access. Some people find the park a little tricky to find, but the peace and tranquility are worth it.

They have a great family atmosphere with different clubhouse activities throughout the year like potlucks, Bingo, crafts, card games, and other group activities.

Atrivers Edge RV Park has camping cabins, yurts, and hideaway huts available for those who don’t want to bring their camper or want a little more space. They have a community fire ring and are accommodating to groups.

This is a nice family-friendly RV park that the whole family will enjoy.

10. Turtle Rock RV Resort

Turtle Rock RV Resort is a great resort but is a little distance away from Brookings. They are the only resort in the area with private hot tub RV sites.

Their hot tub sites are awesome. They give you a great RV camping experience with the benefits of having a personal hot tub at your site. The RV park near Brookings, Oregon offers mountain and ocean views.

If you are going to be traveling around the area and do not want to spend all of your time in Brookings, Oregon, you should check out Turtle Rock RV Resort. They have excellent cottage rentals as well as enjoyable Brookings campgrounds.

Ludlum is fifteen miles from Brookings off FR 1108. You will see seven campsites. It has a fire pit, potable water, flush toilets, garbage, and a host. The elevation is only 100 feet.

Miller Bar is on the Chetco River. At this dispersed site, you can camp where you want, but there are no services or bathrooms. The elevation is only one hundred feet, and the closest town is Brookings.

Nook Bar Camping

Nook Bar is on the Chetco River. At this dispersed campsite, you to camp anywhere that fits you. There are pit toilets in the area, and you will find your closest town as Brookings.

Redwood Bar Dispersed Campground

The Redwood Bar camping near Brookings, Oregon, is past the Little Redwood Campground by the Chetco River. You will find tent or small camper sites, and you can camp anywhere you fit in this dispersed area. There are no services at this campsite.

South Fork Camping
