Disney’s Beach Club Resort in Bay Lake is the ideal luxury hotel in Orlando. It is a family-friendly Lake Buena Vista resort near Disney’s Hollywood Studios with a fancy New England elegance.
You can spend time on a rented small power boat sailing around Crescent Lake. You will be able to walk to EPCOT or take a short boat ride to Hollywood Studios. If you don’t want to walk to EPCOT, you can hitch a ride on the new gondola for a high-flying view with stops at EPCOT or Hollywood Studios.
The two outdoor pools and lagoons have a shipwreck theme that totals around 3 acres of adventure. The fitness facility is the best you will find, and you might need it after indulging in the ice cream parlor and soda shop.
The Disney Beach Club Resort also has many fun amenities once the sun goes down. You can roast some marshmallows over a fire seven days a week or watch your favorite Disney movies every night starting at 9 pm.

The Four Seasons Resort at Walt Disney World is a luxury Golden Oak family resort that caters a little more to sports fans. They have an amazing golf course and Sports Club. The course takes advantage of the unique Florida terrain, wetlands, and Oak trees.
This resort offers many different restaurants, multiple outdoor pools, and an on-site tennis pro where you can get lessons to improve your game on one of the exquisite tennis courts.
If your kids want to make some friends or you want a little alone time, we recommend you look into their kids’ camp for kids ages 4 to 12 years old. The camp is very entertaining for little ones with supervision for swimming, crafts, and even an area for those kids looking to play some video games.

The Grove Resort & Water Park Orlando is a mid-range family-friendly Winter Garden resort in Four Corners.
This resort has restaurants, outdoor pools, and a spa. The free water park and poolside bars are great places to enjoy the sun or spend some time in the accommodating lounges.
The Grove Resort & Water Park Orlando rooms include washers, dryers, and balconies or patios. This is a reasonably priced resort that caters to families with their water activities and splash pad.
The resort offers separate living areas with double couch beds, which are our favorites. We always stay in rooms with separate living areas with our kids. The separate living areas make the evenings much more relaxing. The beds also have comfy down comforters.
The rooms in this 4-star resort have kitchens and full-sized refrigerators. This can be huge for people who want to save money by not constantly eating out.
There are four outdoor swimming pools on the property and a children’s pool. The water park has nice slides and a lazy river.

This smoke-free resort has restaurants and five different outdoor pools, each with a different focus. The many open pool areas are great for picnics, and the kids will love the playground when not in the pool.
The Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek is family focused with full kitchens, washers and dryers, and condo suits giving families the space everyone will love. Do keep in mind for the kids to adventure on the water slides, they have to be at least 48 inches tall.

International Drive Area
Southwest Orlando is home to Universal and Disney World which is also home to the bulk of Orlando’s family-friendly attractions, most of which are located on or around International Drive.
Staying here gives easy access to nearby attractions, including the Chocolate Museum and Café, Wonder Works Orlando, SeaWorld Orlando, Ripley’s Believe It or Not, and Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition. There is also the Orlando Starflyer and Madame Tussauds Orlando, all of which may easily be reached on foot.
International Drive accommodations are more expensive, like those at Lake Buena Vista and Walt Disney World. However, this is the place to be if you want to spend more time exploring the popular areas.

Hyatt Regency Orlando is a luxury hotel in the middle of everything. You have 100+ different entertainment ideas within a small 2-mile range.
This smoke-free hotel has too many amenities to list. The poolside bar and flowing rock waterfalls are some of our favorites. Each unit has a deep soaking tub and a pillowtop bed.
The fridges and coffee makers are great for guests, but our favorite part is the deep soaking bathtubs. The hotel is very business-friendly and has facilities with workstations and phones for local phone calls. You will also be able to keep up with the news with the daily newspaper delivered to your room.
The outdoor tennis court and a 24-hour fitness club are always fantastic additions for some quiet time. The two outdoor swimming pools are excellent, and the children’s pool makes it easy for younger kids to enjoy time in the water.
For those who are night owls, you will love the 24 hours market with different easy-to-go options and sandwiches. For those looking for a late night pick me up the market also has a Starbucks, craft beer, and wine.

Rosen Centre Hotel is a budget 4-star family-friendly resort near the Orange County Convention Center.
The non-smoking resort has seven excellent restaurants and a full-service spa. If that isn’t enough for a budget hotel, you will be glad to spend time in the outdoor pool or poolside bar.
The Rosen Centre Hotel has high-quality bedding and your typical cable channels. The TV isn’t huge but will give you what you need to watch your favorite shows. The rooms have your common hotel amenities and black-out drapes for those who don’t want to be woken up by the sun.

Kissimmee/Celebration Area
Kissimmee is one of the most affordable places to stay in Orlando. Downtown Orlando, Universal Studios, and Walt Disney World are all less than a half-hour drive away. It’s somewhat centrally positioned but not overly close to the most popular attractions.
This location is also near the Orlando International Airport, making it ideal for short-term stays in town. Kissimmee, besides being near to Orlando’s tourist parks, provides opportunities to interact with nature, such as hiking paths and hot air balloon tours with spectacular views.
Kissimmee is one of the great options to stay in Orlando, providing inexpensive lodging away from the hustle and bustle of downtown and convenient access to the main attractions. Because it is a bit out of the main tourist area, it is best to have a rental car when staying here.

14. Gaylord Palms (Luxury)
Gaylord Palms is a luxury, family-friendly 4-star hotel near Old Town. The 4+ acre indoor garden is a favorite for many who stay at the Gaylord Palms. This is also a fabulous hotel for meetings, conventions, or events with a huge flex space and many guest rooms and suits.
This hotel provides a complimentary theme park shuttle and a free water park with two bars and lounges.
Each apartment has a fridge and wired internet. The housekeeping services are offered upon request to make sure you request the type of desired service and how often your room gets clean when you first check-in.
Something to be aware of is that there is a fee for wireless Internet access. This is not that bad given the cheaper prices than some of the other areas, but we prefer to know when these kinds of additional costs might happen.
The on-site Cypress Spring Water Park is exclusive to hotel guests with multi-level water playgrounds and exhilarating slides, including their 35-foot trap door slide.

This apartment complex has multiple fantastic restaurants with an outdoor pool and a fitness facility. People love the shuttle service to the theme park. When you are not exploring Universal Studios, you should check out the sauna and the poolside bar.
The hotel comes with lots of benefits if you are visiting Universal Studios. You can get into the Harry Potter World early, which is great to bypass the crowds. The free transportation will take you to the CityWalk by using the water taxis or the shuttle.
Another nice perk is if you purchase anything, you can have the items dropped off in your room, so you don’t have to carry them. This is a free service offered in conjunction with the resort.
If you are going to be visiting the theme parks in Florida, the best option is to stay in a hotel close to the park. Many of them have excellent perks for entering the park and getting there. If you can afford it, the cost is worth it.
