Universal's Loews Royal Pacific Resort

Universal’s Loews Royal Pacific Resort is a luxury, family-friendly Orlando hotel in the Universal area with many different types of tropical goodness and exotic foods. The pool is a lagoon-type pool that has pristine sandy beaches. The lounge is even a Polynesian style.

This apartment complex has multiple fantastic restaurants with an outdoor pool and a fitness facility. People love the shuttle service to the theme park. When you are not exploring Universal Studios, you should check out the sauna and the poolside bar.

The hotel comes with lots of benefits if you are visiting Universal Studios. You can get into the Harry Potter World early, which is great to bypass the crowds. The free transportation will take you to the CityWalk by using the water taxis or the shuttle.

Another nice perk is if you purchase anything, you can have the items dropped off in your room, so you don’t have to carry them. This is a free service offered in conjunction with the resort.

If you are going to be visiting the theme parks in Florida, the best option is to stay in a hotel close to the park. Many of them have excellent perks for entering the park and getting there. If you can afford it, the cost is worth it.

20. Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort (Mid-range)

Cabana Bay Beach Resort is a family-friendly option for where to stay in Orlando

Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort is a unique mid-range family Orlando hotel. The hotel is a retro style and is designed for guests to have a great time while not breaking the bank.

You will enjoy jumping in the pool and eating at the great food court. The hotel also has early admission to the Harry Potter World, which is one of our favorite places to visit.

Another great perk the kids will love is the Friday night character appearances. The hotel lobby hosts different characters every Friday night.

The Cabana pool courtyard has poolside cabanas you can rent if you enjoy relaxing at the pool. The family will also enjoy the water slide that is shaped like a dive tower.

Another great benefit is the stress-free cancelation policy. You can cancel 6 days in advance and still receive a full refund if, for some reason, your trip needs to be rescheduled.

21. DoubleTree by Hilton at the Entrance to Universal Orlando (Budget)

DoubleTree by Hilton at the Entrance to Universal Orlando is a budget, family hotel that is still a Universal Orlando Partner. This means it is close to Universal Studios, the Harry Potter World, and Volcano Bay. You are also only a few miles from the Premium Outlets shopping and the Mall at Millenia.

The connecting rooms are great for larger families who will need multiple rooms to fit everyone, and if you need or want to bring your pet, the rooms are pet friendly.

The DoubleTree by Hilton is your basic budget hotel with an onsite restaurant and free wifi. You won’t get anything luxurious about this hotel, but you will find a clean modern space to stay that is close to Universal Studios

The Starbuck on-site is also a hit for those who prefer not to drink the typical bland hotel room coffee.
