We have been visiting the state of Nevada since we were little kids, mostly for sports tournaments, but we never got over the bright lights and amazing landscapes of the Nevada desert. Since getting married and having kids, we have continued our travels in Nevada.
Las Vegas makes a great hub for exploring the Southwest. We often make our way through Las Vegas as we head down to Arizona and Southern California. It is a great place to take a break from driving and explore the city.
We have found Las Vegas to be a great place to visit with our kids. Valley of Fire is one of our favorite places to visit in Las Vegas to enjoy some hiking in the cooler months. There are lots of great tours to enjoy, and my kids could spend hours exploring all of the family-friendly things to do in Las Vegas.
