The drive will take you northeast of Las Vegas across the Utah-Arizona border. You will drive through St. George, Utah, and dip back into Page, Arizona, where Antelope Canyon is.

Walking through this part is more of an adventure because of the ladders. It is more of a strenuous walk when compared to the Upper Canyon experience, but it’s nothing to be too concerned about. Our four-year-old twins did just fine. They did need some help going up and down the steep ladders but loved every minute of it. We highly recommend visiting Antelope Canyon if you’re visiting Las Vegas with kids.

There are a couple of really great things about Canyon X that make it worth considering. First, bus tours to Canyon X are much cheaper. Comparing tour prices to Upper Antelope Canyon, you can save almost $140 per person by visiting Canyon X.

It is also less popular as a destination, which means that guided tours are less rushed, the canyon is less crowded, and most of the time, you can get tickets at the last minute.
The tour lasts 15 hours and includes transportation to and from Las Vegas. With a small group of 13 or less, you will get to spend about 1 hour hiking through Canyon X with an educated Navajo guide.
